A good solution for older apartments or houses where has the 3 prong 240v outlets instead of the 4 prong ones. Strightinc adapter fits most dryer outlets installed in homes built prior to 1997.
Connects yours new dryer to old home outlet. By its new style 4 prong outlet (14-30R) to 3 prong dryer plug (10-30P). The NEMA 10-30 is an older style outlet that is commonly used for clothes dryers before.
The green ground wire lets you simply plug the ground plug into the nearest regular wall outlet or extension cord. The full four poles have connected and get power safety.
